Pepperpot Fest 2023
Our second annual festival celebrating a beloved Guyanese Christmas tradition, with a vendors market, live performances, and the Pepperpot competition.

’Tis the season for delicious food, giving back, and diverse celebrations. A beloved Guyanese tradition tied to Christmas morning is the savory dish called Pepperpot. Nothing beats waking up to the aromatic smell of meat cooked in casareep and spices, served with buttery soft plait bread. Guyanese Muslims enjoy this dish using halal meat, but Pepperpot can also be simmered as a yummy vegan dish for Hindus and others who abstain from meat.
In honour of this unique dish, we are hosting a festival on Friday, December 16, from 5 pm to 10 pm at 10 Belfield Rd, Etobicoke.
Come join us for a wide variety of foods that will tantalize your taste buds! This inaugural fundraiser festival aims to bring the community together with a vendors market, musical performances, and door prizes.
